The duty of Good

 We have a dilemma in our area. The dilemma is freedom about responsibility or is it about greed? Most of us in Chelan County have put up with a vocal minority play costly games for the last year or so with little regard for our businesses. They have now moved on with wanting to spread illness to our kids in school. Last night's school district meeting should be a wake up call. Do we want another year of this?

We waited while they packed their churches to cough on one another in January during the height of a covid wave. How many churches are in people's wills when they die?

We waited while groups organized online. Charging their supporters for supplies. Stacking them in groups with deceptive names like freedom and protect the children when they were focused on inspiring anger and our wallets. Like sheep waiting to be fleeced.

It's all about making money.

We waited while they attended political rallies in July to support candidates that would support behaviors that spread infection.  Candidates that have no interest in public or safety.

They really don't care.

There are good groups out there promoting lawful and responsible behavior. Wenatchee public schools has been out there reminding us about the Governor's lawful order. 

We have Gyms like Worx having to call the police and kick out former members.

Freedom doesn't mean greedy, stupid or lawless. Have we forgotten that freedom isn't free? The folks that promote poor behaviors will only prolong this public health crisis and further disrupt business from being conducting.
